You will never get over his softness and the way you love finding it, even on the strongest parts of his body. He’s just so nice to touch. He is not puffed up or too big or swollen, he is simply strong and kind, even his body is kind, and it shows in the way his skin is so pliant over all his strength. Shigezane’s hand is a bit rough but it touches you with the gentlest sort of kindness, especially on your cheek where he rests his palm so lightly, his thumb making little up and down rubs that touch your lashes. You don’t know if he means to do it, but it is the most tender, romantic thing you have ever experienced and you are adding it to your list of things to tell him you like.

He has heat, but mostly he has the best warmth. Being near him feels like being cradled by loving hands even when he isn’t touching you. When he is touching you, like now, with that hand on your face and the other resting just as gently on your hip, you feel a safety you have not known since childhood, bone-deep and calming. Empowering. Like that safety will always exist for you, even when you have to break away from one another. That’s love, doll, he’s told you. You make me feel that way, too.

You ever just want all the clocks in the world to explode? he’d asked one day, mid-makeout. I’m happy with you, I don’t want time to exist. Let’s not go back to our dumb jobs, okay? At the time you had giggled and said that would be nice, but you were the one to eventually pull away and whisper that you both really should get back to what people were expecting you to do.

Now you know that this is what people expect you to be doing, and that makes you laugh into the kiss, gives you a few seconds to appreciate the sweet way he keeps breathing you in, giving you his own breath in return, warm on your lips with a perfect summer sunset kind of fullness. In the tiny break he slips the hand on your hip behind your back and squeezes you the small bit closer you can get. Being pressed to his body is the best because you can get so much of that hidden softness, feel the give of him in so many places. Feel the places he doesn’t give, too.

Then the smooth slip of his tongue is back, bringing you sweetness and mint-- he always chews gum before he picks you up-- and the gratification of the gentle way he coaxes you to open back up for him, and the whispered Please that always makes you toes squeeze tight at the joy of being so desired, the happiest you’ve been until you say Yeah and he says something like Aww man, thank goodness in relief, and then your love for him hits you all over again.

It’s been awhile, a few minutes at least. But you find yourself hoping all the clocks in the world spontaneously explode, or that, at least, the two of you will stay like this a few minutes more. Even if glass and numbers fell around you like confetti, you wouldn’t give up kissing him for anything but air.

I love a lot of these dudes but my unshakable TOP FOUR/(merch buys 😂) are Nobuyuki, Ieyasu, Shigezane, and Mitsuhide. Shigezane’s into-her-from-the-very-first-moment never fails to make me 🥺🥰 and he is so FUN, he has some sadness and struggle but he is SO fun, such an outstanding character. I hope when you play him you will love the heck out of him. He already loves the heck out of you! 💕💕💕
