“Don’t give me that look.”
She sighed, looking up from what it was she was doingShe couldn’t focus, couldn’t think straight and the only word she’d managed to write down in the past couple days was the word ‘men.’ Needless to say, she wasn’t thrilled. She’d been mumbling the same sentences over and over again, almost like a soft litany. “Men who can spout off nothing more than clichés often say that money can’t buy happiness. William Hazlitt, author of “On the Want of Money,” says they are wrong.” No matter how many times she said it out loud, she couldn’t bring herself to put it down on paper. The mere thought of it was simply mind-boggling. Her dark hair was in disarray after repeatedly combing her fingers through it and there were teeth marks on the pen she’d been holding like a lifeline. Her dark eyes were bloodshot and there were dark circles beneath her glazed orbs, most likely from lack of sleep. Her hands lightly shook as she tried to maintain a grip on her pen.
“When I need motivation, my one solution is my queen, cause she stays strong. Yeah yeah.”
Is there something I can help you with?
"Well, that was… An interesting meal…"
What do you want?
“Just sayin’… I’m pretty sure that lady had an Adam’s apple. She hit like a man and smelled like a man, too, so I don’t feel as bad for punching her in the throat. Overall, I’d rate it a -5/10.”
“Who starter that whole ‘keep calm and carry on’ thing and why did we let it go on for so long? What if don’t want to keep calm?”
