Whump rating: 3/5

Tropes: whumpee is forced to kill, fall from grace, threats to friends and family, restrained, branded, lost consciousness, (briefly) collared, stoic whumper turned whumpee, limb amputation.

Review: This well and truly had potential, but the author is more focused on the plot than the whump. A complaint unique to us I'm sure, but the magic concept absolutely has great potential for whump authors to think about. FMC/whumpee is a bi icon and I love her.
