October and the spooky season got me thinking about how Limber is so prone to curling up on the couch to watch spooky movies and eat candy he got for eventual trick or treaters. The first surrogacy he does, he ends up around five months along when October hits and Moriarty “accidentally” buys treats too early. He has to act normal each time he comes home from classes to find his fiancé on their sofa, a near empty bag of chocolates on the coffee table and his belly beginning to stick out between his top and pants while another horror movie plays on screen. The man is always so apologetic when he makes notice of having eaten the sweets and insists on replacing them, but Moriarty will hear nothing of it.
Limber keeps trying to avoid temptation, asking that the candy be hidden, or that they get kind he’s not craving, or just have Moriarty keep it at work. But none of it matters, because Moriarty always insists it will be fine, buys extras, and eagerly waits. And when it comes time for them to attend some kind of Halloween party, it takes everything in him to keep it together when Limber can barely squeeze into his costume. His hips and thighs practically popping from the hems, his backside stretching the pants, and his belly practically obscene in what the fabric manages to cover. If Moriarty has anything to say about it, that costume won’t make it through the evening.
