Breaking My Own Rules

This week I broke my own diet rule, and this morning I’m suffering the consequences. My hands, knees, and feet are swollen, and my weight is up 5 pounds from Wednesday. I also have my first sinus headache in nearly 3 months.

Food Should Taste Good

The beings in our house discovered Food Should Taste Good's  Multi-Grain chips at Costco a while back.  We totally love them and have been buying them often.  Recently our family received a box of 4 more flavors to sample from Food Should Taste Good.  (We are so lucky!) Everyone loved the Multi-grain, so we were all excited to try out these other awesome flavors.  We sampled Kimchi, Lime, Blue Corn, and Sweet Potato.  My oldest son (17) and I were both most excited to try the Kimchi, while my husband and second son (also 17 - younger twin) were looking forward to the lime.  Our daughter (7) wanted to taste the sweet potato first. 

Here are some quotes from our sampling party. 

In regard to the Blue Corn

There was a flavor for everyone.  All of the chips had fans and there was no flavor that was a total flop.   Papa added that "They are all as good as food should taste ;) "  I liked that they don't break as easily as other chips when you dip them.

We had a blast with our sampling party.  My kids took it very seriously, but it was fun.

Our favorites in order of preference...

Papa = 1. Blue, 2. Sweet Potato, 3. Lime, 4. Kimchi

Mama = 1. Blue, 2. Kimchi, 3. Lime, 4. Sweet Potato

Son 1 = 1. Sweet Potato, 2. Kimchi, 3. Blue, 4. Lime

Son 2 = 1. Lime, 2. Kimchi, 3. Sweet Potato, 4. Blue

Daughter = 1. Blue, 2. Sweet Potato, 3. Lime, 4. Kimchi (no)

While they were all good, it looks like Blue Corn was the winner at our house.  There are lots more flavors of tortilla chips to try...15 of them all together, as well as 5 flavors of kettle cooked chips, and Sea Salt Brown Rice crackers.  You can find our more for yourself at http://www.foodshouldtastegood.com/
