The Limestone Village S.R.Badmin The genius of Badmin, shown here in his autolithographed Puffin Picture Book, Village and Town, published in 1941, almost a child's version of Kenneth Clark's Recording Britain project. How Badmin managed to capture such detail by drawing on dull grey lithographic plates is quite astonishing and showcases his skills as an engraver.
