Sprängdåd i Limhamn gav långa straff. Malmö tingsrätt har dömt två män till nio års fängelse och en kvinna till sju års fängelse. Detta för brott kopplade till en handgranatsexplosion i Limhamn i juli 2025. På natten den 21 juli 2025 detonerade en handgranat i en lägenhet på Stora Högestensgatan i Limhamn. Mack (Västanväg/Högerudsgatan, Limhamn)

Here is a Mack gas station in 1974. Mack Petroleum was the first Swedish company in 1972 to only offer automated pay-at-the-pump facilities, which meant that they could charge less than their competitors! A few years later, they were owned by Swedish BP and other competitors opened similiar automated facilities. In 1989 BP sold all 207 Mack stations to UNO-X which in turn rebranded them.

Since at least 2009 this has been a trailer rental business. The old structure from the gas station is still standing, it's unknown when it ceased to be one.

First snow

Walking home friday evening it snowed and the ground was slippery. I am not fond of snow as it usually snows and melts and than freezes again in this part of the world. Hope it will be gone soon again. The trees are willows that were planted along roads or between fields. The were cut yearly and the boughs used for fodder or to make things of. Fuzzy Bumblebee

I went out this morning to take my customary midsummer pictures and caught this fuzzy bumble bee. He och she was quite loud so I am pretty sure it is a bumble bee.

OK (Rudbecksgatan, Limhamn)

Here on the left you can see an OK gas station. The picture is probably taken at some point during the 1980s. Maybe 1989.

In 2009 the gas station is a Preem station with a store which it has been since 1996, when Preem came on the market.

At some point the store closed down and the building is no longer tied to the gas station itself and houses instead a paint store.
