By no means anything like finals, just me pissing around in Canva while brainstorming actual ideas for photoshop. But It was fun to do it, all the same.
Hi there, sometimes I make things and sometimes that spreads some joy. Available for: ⬞ Twitch moderation ⬞ Discord moderation ⬞ Beta reading ⬞ Copywriting ⬞ Graphics creation (background in merch/POD and channel graphics - currently non-vector) What's the catch/cost? I do all my work for free, I just ask that you pass on some good vibes in a nice gesture for someone else. (Please be aware, I will add a snippet of work done to my portfolio, like the examples below - such as, branding once you're no longer using it or a profile banner to show a part of the wider graphics bundle. This does not extend extend writing work.) Testimonials are always appreciated. Contact via askbox. or any of the social listed in my Notion.
Find some examples on my Notion (limited to most recent, a lot are just lost to time)
The sheer amusement I'm getting out of EmoteLab is unreal.
Sims is officially gone from the desktop. Have decided I'm keeping WoW game time but switching to monthly until there's another deal (I stacked a bunch last year so between waiting to get mounts and doing cost/benefit on expansions) to get bulk for a little cheaper. Also decided I'm gonna bite the bullet (next month) by opting for a year of Photoshop.
Added a couple more items of my smooshmallow design to the shop. Not many, I got distracted with all the pretty options. Also knocked through three of my little container projects today, so now I've a selection of beautiful flowers to make into bracelets. Unfortunately, now have a post office run to make, but there's no rush so it can wait until I do my big meds etc errand walk.
Not bad, if I do say so myself.
Now it's time for either Outland Cup progress in WoW, or chilling on Cosy Caravan. Undecided atm, but it's probably gonna be Cosy Caravan.
ETA: Oh no, I think it's Midnight early access. Idk what that all means but damn, may be hitting that this weekend.
It's slow going to fill it because was learning by doing with regards to setting up each product, and I'm not even finished with the products for this design BUT
got my shop up
Also rethinking if I wanna be lazy, and get Photoshop. Cause as annoying as it is to be giving those fucks money (and the year subscription is intimidating y'know - tying myself into 3 months at £10 and 9 at £22, but that would be desktop and tablet - I'd probably take the pay upfront option at £263, just cause I prefer that it's paid for the year and done just incase my benefits go byebye, especially since that's only a little more than the jabs I was on, I could just taper down on my current pen doing two half doses instead of a full one instead and that'd be me off off them completely), I'm used to and efficient with the program. GIMP is taking way longer than I bargained, cause it's essentially learning it from scratch since it's been ages since I last used it (like.. 2013-ish) and I seriously doubt my from-scratch designing skills in something pay monthly like Canva.
Once upon a time, I was a beast with GIMP. While others in the same spcaes I bumbled about in, were rocking cracked Photoshop or (ladeeda) paid versions of it... I was still brute forcing GIMP into doing whatever my brain came up with.
Then I got photoshop through ex's work.
And I became spoiled.
So, redownloading it. I've been doing Canva Pro for the odd month when I need it, but honestly, I think I can get my skills back and do it properly on the desktop.
🤞
