It had been a rough summer. Whenever he saw the places that he and the leader of SEES used to go to and hang out at, Junpei had to stop and turn around and find a new way to his destination. And even with Chidori alive and hanging out with him, he wondered if this was punishment.
That maybe he should have been the one who died last year. Maybe it would have balanced the world out. God, there was so much going on in his mind that even if he could talk to Chidori about it, Junpei was worried he was going to confuse the poor girl and just scare her away.
Junpei sat down next to him and sighed softly. "I... As long as you don't freak out with how much I've been holding back?" He laughed weakly and sighed softly. "...Do you think the butterfly effect is a real thing? Because," he gulped and turned to face Chidori, "I was supposed to die last year, but someone saved my life for their own."
Damn. What a hell of an example Junpei.
"And I wondered if I stayed dead, would it have cost someone else to live and change the course of life."
