Aw :( but seriously loving this fic and liveblog writing! Can I give you a few pairings to choose from? YOu don't have to do all or any, just to give you options :) 1 Sabriel Sam works at a new candy store. 2 Destiel Cas is an air steward (/host/whatever they're called) and Dean is a terrible flyer. 3 Samifer HS they are both in choir together (side note as a fiddle player, I love that Luci plays fiddle in WFL) 4 Destiel Cas works at a museum. IDK am I doing this right lol i stink at fic writing
When the bell over the door rang, Sam knew someone had stepped into the small shop, but when a familiar voice started singing, “He’s a one-stop shop, makes my cherry pop, he’s a sweet-talking, sugar-coated candyman,” he knew it was just Gabriel, and he leaned his forearms against the glass displaying the goods, grinning at his favorite patron.
“The usual, Gabe?” Sam asked, enjoying that despite the fact he’d only been working here a week and he already had a regular customer who had a regular order.
“Nah, I think I’m going to go with something different today, Samquatch,” the smaller man was leaning forward, and before Sam could react, his patron captured his lips between his own.
The attractive, freckled man was white-knuckling the armrests on the plane, and Castiel was afraid he’d puncture holes in the upholstery if he didn’t do something quick. He leaned over, resting a hand on the man’s knee, only taking a second to admire the shade of the frightened man’s eyes, before he offered a smile and murmured, “You need to take your mind off of it.”
The man looked confused as Castiel stood, walking past the bathrooms to get to the median between first class and coach where the other hostesses would not be right now, sending the man a wink before he drew the curtain back, just in case he still didn’t understand that Castiel was willing to help distract him.
Lucifer knew he was the best singer in the chorus class, so he knew the teacher would give him the opening solo on Imagine, despite the fact that he thought the song was hippy bullshit – imagine there’s no heaven, it’s easy if you try, no hell below us, above us only sky? – yeah, right. He almost stood when the name was called, despite that it was not his name, and saved the aborted motion with an awkward shift, his arms coming to rest in front of his chest, glaring at the floppy haired boy who stood up to sing his solo.
And Lucifer very pointedly did not look at the other kid’s ass as he stood with his back to the chorus, singing about peace and happiness and all that hippy bullshit; although, to be fair, the kid sounded like he meant it (and to be more fair, when the kid stepped back into the chorus, Lucifer and goosebumps had kind of sort of thought he might believe in it).
“I can’t take a break right now, Dean; I – oh…” Castiel’s voice cut out as his eyes shot up and his hand instinctively dropped to Dean’s head, keeping him in place despite his earlier protests and the fact that they were in the middle of the dinosaur exhibit with Castiel’s back pressed against a glass display case filled with the bones of a microraptor.
Instead, the man amended his previous statement by saying, “Dean, quick; this exhibit is the most popular among children, and I… yes, please, Dean.”
Dean smirked against the man, pulling back enough to get a quip in, “I love it when you get all nerdy when I’m trying to blow you, Cas,” but his reward was a growl, and the man’s hand tightened at his skull and pulled him forward, and who was Dean to deny that?
