Well, that was everything. Soundcheck done, shitty mic properly broken, recording ready, and his bag of ghosthunting equipment was primed and ready for maximum ghost activity. The location was even perfect. Abandoned. Rumored to have been built on a graveyard with a bunch of murders, hauntings, and overall bad vibes.
Deka flicked on the recording and said, "Welcome back to GhostHunters- name still work in progress cuz I don't wanna get copyrighted or whatever. Tonight, we got extra, extra haunted murder house and there's like hella rumors about it being haunted so I bet we're gonna get some rad as fuck- and maybe even sexy- ghosts in here, even though we all know it’s just Mr. Johnson’s old house, so obviously the murders and whatever is a bunch of bull."
This was the fun part, wandering around the house until something- or someone showed up. Usually it was the latter, like some ghost that got trapped in his runed flashlight, or the neighbor banshee wanting to know what was happening, or the werecat cop telling him to go home.
"Pspspsp, ghoosstieess, I know you're there and hiding from me," Deka sang, his flashlight sweeping through the darkness. "I can see you hi---ding~!" That was true. He had enchanted himself before entering the house, just in case. "Or not," he said, disappointed when a glance over the room revealed nothing.
If he had ears, they would've perked up in interested at the scuffling, scrabbled sounds coming from another room. Deka headed toward it, calling, "Yo, ghosts, you wanna be on my ghosthunting podcast?"
