Wednesday wishes🌈🌺🌿🦌 SAVE THE STARGAZER!!! {I’ve been visiting the Hamptons ever since I moved to NYC 20 years ago & have always loved this deer sculpture in Eastport! She seemed to welcome the weary city travelers by beckoning, “You’ve arrived!” It seems fitting that many years later I moved to her cute little Southampton town & became her neighbor. Sadly, the beautiful 50 foot tall deer statue, “Stargazer” by artist Linda Scott, who passed away in 2015, is over 30 years old & has fallen into disrepair from storm damage, needing restoration to shore up the steel & wood artwork.
