Lin's opinion on the events of the Trespasser dlc?
In short, she was angry, otherwise she’d be crushed by the realization that her loving Solas was what caused all of this, and everything that was happening was the result of her foolishly placing her trust. Her pride wouldn’t been able to survive such a blow, so she convinced herself that it was all Solas’ fault, and the hatred kept her going.
There came a point where Lindrian didn’t care if she lived or died, as long as the Viddasala didn’t succeed. At first she was adamant on keeping the Inquisition intact, and as the conspiracy unraveled further she saw it as the golden opportunity to prove that the Inquisition was still needed. That hope diminished as she realized how thick the conspiracy really was, and with the anchor getting worse she also realized that she wouldn’t even live to see the council’s decision. Thus she tossed aside her concerns about the Inquisition and vowed herself to save southern Thedas one last time.
After the Viddasala’s reveal about Solas, her will to fight was based entirely on revenge; if the anchor was going to kill her, she was going to find Solas and take him down with her in the explosion; a fitting end, given how an explosion was how everything started in the first place. Should the Viddasala kill him first, Lin was willing to settle for her instead.
She tries to attack Solas on site. But after the Fen’harel reveal, she finally gives in to despair; she would not live to even scratch a god. The reality of what she had done to the world by trusting Solas hits her head on, and her will crashes; the only reason she didn’t resist the kiss was because she had no strength left to.
Her guilt prompted her to disband the Inquisition, and she goes through a period of self-condemnation; eventually the inner circle snaps her out of it, but her drive to stop Solas is largely based on her own need for redemption.
