Thursday Night Link Roundup - September 24th
Well hello there,
This has been a Week, hasn’t it? Then again, every week since late 2016 has been a Week and like… can we stop the ride? I’d like to get off. I’m so tired.
I’m not sure how this first video was recommended to me, but I really love the framing at the beginning. How to Spot a (Potential) Fascist byTom Nicholas.
I’m sort of surprised that I had never heard of him or been recommended his videos before, because this one was good and I ended up watching a bunch of others afterwards. I’m always sort of morbidly fascinated by the conservative and facist psyches, like… I just can’t comprehend being okay with being afraid of everything and/or being okay with not understanding so much of the world. It’s really strange.
This, I ended up searching after it trended on tumblr. Minecraft, But I'm Not Colorblind Anymore… by GeorgeNotFound.
I thought this was a really sweet video. Dream getting excited because his friend is about to see color the way non-colorblind people see them, it was adorable. I actually know a few guys who are colorblind, so it’s cool to know that the glasses might work for them too.
So I… will be honest: sometimes, I don’t pay attention to what I’m doing when I’m cooking and I burn food.
You know how things are like “please ask an adult for help making this?” that’s me, I need to ask an adult. An older adult. A better adult, who pays attention to things so they can pay attention to it for me. While I zone the fuck out because, let’s face it, it’s not going to stop happening.
Luckily, JunsKitchen was like, “Here’s how to clean the things you wrecked,” and I opened my hands like the little beggar child I am and said, “Thank you, sir. You are so kind.” And then I scurried off into an alleyway in a Dickensian novel and scrubbed my pots and pans in the cold night.
I don’t know what’s happening.
But I did watch the Undertale 5th Anniversary Concert last week!
Highlights include:
Them having the Annoying Dog plush on a stand
The oboe player who might be a bullfrog???
The violin player with the 1980s hair
One of the violinists and one of the double bassists (I think?) having the same hair color and almost the same haircut
Some of the performers wearing an Annoying Dog pin
All of the musicians leaving the stage at the end
I really enjoyed it and kept losing it when my favorite songs came on. They sound so good arranged for an orchestra.
This, I just... two can play at that game - ProZD
I don’t know what it is about ProZD’s brand of comedy that just gets me. It has that kind of Airplane!, Top Secret! kind of vibe to it. Just pure goofiness. His acting is always top notch.

Okay so… I don’t know why I keep clicking on all these mashups… but like, I like this one? It strikes me as very ska-ish at first, but then the end starts to make me like, “What am I doing with my time?” but sort of in a good way?
