[id: two edited screencaps of lin beifong from 3.05, ‘the metal clan’. the original backgrounds have been replaced with photographs of flowers, with the parts of the original images that were lin remaining. the color and light tinting of the flowers are also laid on top of the pictures of lin, which gives the pictures a filter-like effect. in the first picture she is against a background of lavender, looking mistrustfully at the camera. in the second picture she is against a backdrop of peony, looking angry and shouting. in the victorian language of flowers, lavender symbolized mistrust and peonies symbolized anger. end id]
