"Racism describes a system of disadvantage based on race. Black people can't be racist since we don't stand to benefit from such a system."
So, apart from the misuse of the term 'racism', I'd like to address a sneaky bit of linguistic trickery in this. The statement in the headlines here is beyond moronic. But it is linguistically close to a statement that is far more reasonable and actually arguable. It is a defensible position to state that black people don't stand to benefit from the -current- system of racial dynamics. (I personally don't think it's true, I mean... Look at the whole Ahmed ordeal) But that is not what this statement is saying. No, this statement is saying that there is no system of unequal treatment based on race that can be advantageous to blacks. "Black people can't be racist since they don't stand to benefit from a system of disadvantage based on race" is saying that even if whites, as a whole, would be reduced to a slave caste whose only purpose in society is to produce wealth and comfort for black people, at the expense of their happiness and liberties, -blacks would still not benefit from such a system-. Use words properly. Language is a valuable and powerful tool.
