Okay I'm legitimately concerned now. What's with this adamant rejection of the fact that Link is shorter than Zelda. Some people are just talking but several people seem upset and anger. Are yall okay? Why is this such a problem? Some men are short, that's life. This denial is not healthy.

Most links are shorter than Zelda, especially botw/totk link. He's shorter. It's not fanon, making him taller is fanon.

Link is shorter than Zelda, canonically. In fact, he is shorter than most npcs in both botw and totk that are not children or elderly. He is short enough that multiple npcs in both games comment on it. There's a weird resistance to that fact that I have suspicions of the reasons for but I don't want to be accusatory. Its just frustrating to see so many people just ignore the most unique aspect of his character design.

Apparently not everyone does but I really like that Link is short. I like his stature in general but it also makes me feel better about my shorter than average and petite size, even as a girl.

i just do not understand how we keep having the same conversation about link’s height. genuinely what is there to argue about. he’s canonically short. he’s shorter than zelda but not by much and he’s significantly shorter than a lot of people in hyrule. this is just a fact. what are we doing here

Joking aside, isn’t that actually pretty rare? People make him taller than her often enough for it to be a topic of discourse, and are they really making him an “obedient dog” or do you just not like seeing him be kind and romantic instead of dominating?
