To give you perspective , I dont really feel my legs unless I’ve worked out for at least five minutes and it’s been like this for a couple years now so when the first couple seconds popped up I was like “yoo this kinda sounds good? Whenever you mention the fandom complaining about the show losing time by not telling enough story I feel such confusion since I cant help compare it to others nowdays series and rotmnt has told us so much in so little time, presented a cast of minor rivals, a new villain that in canon has not lost his menace rank (specially when we know he will be betrayed), their own spin on the canon, giving in-between story of both parties and all main points of conflict

you get it! what i love about ROTTMNT is that it doesnt use needless padding and then try to resolve everything in an entire episode.

if this was a different, much worse written show, the reveal with Splinter and Lou would have been pushed all the way back to season 3 and the turtles probs wouldnt get their weapons halfway through.

Really my only issue with the show is the lack of confirmation for the yokai lore (i noticed a lot of fans believe that yokai and mutants are the same thing) but the show makes it clear that since a lot of this is from the turtles’ perspective, it would be difficult to know more about it.

i mean it with full sincerity that ROTTMNT is the best show currently airing and one of the best shows in the past decade with its clever visual storytelling, solid pacing and really good foreshadowing

Ohh I guess people really like the fast pacing in rottmnt. That’s actually my own main problem with the show, personally. Everything goes so fast in this show I feel numb to anything close to a plot twist or badass moment cause it just happens in like two seconds lmao. The only thing the show ever gets out of me is the occasional chuckle at a dumb joke Leo or Donnie made. Love the show to bits with the new take on the characters and the magic and the whole yokai thing, but I hate the fast pacing. Am I the only one?
