linkmasterchief answered your question:Open Question To My Followers
Well, I’m biased as I’d love the opportunity to RP with ya. However, setting up Tumblr RPs-which are so volatile & note-based-can be tricky, so I’d recommend setting up guidelines for the process. Start with small non-canon stuff, & go from there.
Maybe, but if I do I want to keep my blog primarily focused on my ask and advice service that I’ve done in the past.
Any pic / commission ideas you've been kicking around, or characters you've wanted to get 'em with?
Actually yeah, there are a number of ideas I have for pics. Nothing with any character in particular, but of some outfits and poses. I have a folder on my Dropbox (here, NSFW warning) with pictures of things that have given me ideas. Basically a picture wishlist folder. :v
I enjoyed the episode overall as well, but it did bring up a weird Cootie Murk question. The episode had a lot of 'work vs. hobbies' themes in it, with 'work' being equivalent to 'what your Cutie Mark tells you to do'. At the same time, the CMC seem to be really the only group that haven't really seamlessly married the two together. Pinks is the party pony and she works as a planner and baker, Twilight is MAGIC and goes around using and spreading it, etc.
Cutie marks really are just “what you’re good at” which you then usually go on to make your job, because why wouldn’t you do a job about what you’re good at and have fun doing? I assume not all cutie marks equal a pony’s job, I’m sure some of them use their talents as just a fun hobby.
Honestly, this episode just makes the whole “They have the same cutie mark” make even less sense because they friggin SHOW it not being the case by the rules the show had set up this very episode!
Like, the dancing kid was good at dancing, everyone knew it, everyone could see it, even he knew it! BUT he didn’t get his cutie mark UNTIL he did some big thing, in this case performing and beating his performance anxiety. That has been the established formula for Cutie Mark obtaining the ENTIRE show!
Apple Bloom is good at Construction, and apparently potions. Sweetie Belle is a singer, Scootaloo is a scooter performer. SO THEIR TALENTS SHOULD BE THAT! Not a stupid shield! They shouldn’t all have a shield! It’s SO DUMB! (And I STILL HATE THEIR COLORS THE COLORS PISS ME OFF THE MOST AAAAAAA)
So uh, yes. Good episode, good lesson, pretty much a solid 8-9/10, but god the CMC cutie marks still piss me off and they will forever piss me off because they are forever canon now and can not be undone. We’re stuck with them. We’re stuck with that garbage uuuuuugggghhhh =w=

A lantern-bearing spirit who wanders the Everfree, guiding those lost within to safety.
*BOOPS THE SNOOT* How've things on the RP scene been going, Scarara? I'm in the middle of changeling shenanegins, myself.
Depends on what RP you’re talking about. I’m involved in a few right now...
A vacation on an isolated beach that has been going off and on and has turned into the “Fan service” episode
A skyship captain in an alternate history Earth on the hunt of a criminal mastermind
And lastly my usual slice-of-life shenanigans
Isn't it a bit early for sunglasses, Scarlet? It's not even January yet!
Babe, with how the weather been? I’ll be lucky if I see any real snow fall in the near future. So for now? I’ll just pretend I flew south for the winter.
