Sunday Six, 9/29/19

At Eskild’s cafe, Magnus goes outside to talk on the phone and Isak chews quietly, flinching when his jaw clicks.

“You should have that looked at.”

The woman behind the counter is obscured by the book she’s reading but her sweater sleeves, pulled up past her forearms, reveal vulnerable, red-tinged elbows. He tilts his head to read the title: So Much Longing in So Little Space.

“Are you Linn?”

“Not interested,” she answers; voice as flat as a dial tone.

I really love Skam Italia, sometimes I think that it's actually better than the og, I could go on hours making a list of pros and parallels and differences, etc etc etc.

But, despite this, I really miss Linn in Skam Italia. For many people she can be a secondary character but I really loved her and her brotps with Eskild and Even were like... my favorite parts from Skam og so.... I really like Skam Italia s2 but everytime I think about the fact that there is no Linn I get so sad. Some people say that maybe she'll be introduced in s3 but it won't be the same, probably there won't be a scene showing the connection between italian!Linn and Niccolò and there'll be less moments with her and Filippo together, a whole season without her.

So... yeah, many people don't care about this or her but she was precious to me so... I really love Skam Italia but I can't change the fact that I'm a bit (a bit???) sad about this.

Also I really wished for Bessegato to give us Linn with more characterization and a real talk about her depression and how she is dealing with it, which is also why Even could understand her and make her laugh and play. But I guess that I won't have this gift in my life.
