Pester x Lottie is great because they both have 0 limits, 0 cares, and just want power. Pester is the weak one in the relationship because he actually has the capability to have feelings for Lottie. Lottie is just in it for the clout.

“… Not really no. The closest thing to a friend I have would probably be Arfur since I’m usually at the Inn whenever I have spare cash.” he sighs, holding his head in one palm. He’s sat crosslegged in the grass, a thick book in his other hand.
After a moment he looks up again, “… Lately I have been talking a bit with the other gardeners. Patch’ suggested that it’d be good for me, making friends that is.” Hal glances back at his book, a thumb stroking over the aged pages. It was a thick novel but not particularly dense word wise. The cover was a shiny blue, faded and slightly burnt in places. It seemed to be some kind of children’s novel.
“I don’t really care either way. I think the others find me too intimidating to consider friendship.
“…… though it would be nice.”
