I've been listening to Echolane's remix of Nine Stars over and over again the song drives me crazy (it reminds me of the relationship between link and paya that I have almost exclusively hallucinated and don't feel I can properly evoke on paper ugh and now I'm thinking about them too much)

Something I wish Tears of the Kingdom had: a few more scenes for the Sheikah characters. Mainly Impa and her family.

Paya’s diary can be summed up as “I hope grandmother will be proud of me,” and since Impa’s decision to go back to Kakariko is triggered by the player, it would have been nice if Link escorted her there and we got to actually see Paya welcome her home and Impa point out what a great job she’s done.

Purah and Impa making small talk. “So, sis, how’ve you been?” “Same old, same old, my joints still ache when it’s cold out.” “Y’know, I could fix that for you... Get you back to your prime...” “Not a chance. My memory may not be what it used to be, but I still remember how often your experiments exploded back before the Calamity.”

Purah teasing Paya about her feelings for Link, telling her great niece “You should ask Linky for some ‘medicine’ while you’ve got him here.” Paya cringes out of her skin at Purah bringing up that embarrassing incident. Link asks Paya later what sort of medicine she needs, very sincerely assuring her he’ll get whatever it is for her.

Hey, check out this Zelda ship art I did for my buddy @mikey-hunter !!! It was his birthday recently so I drew him Link and Paya from Breath of the Wild. (In the context of him calming her down while she was spooked in The Stolen Heirloom quest)

I've just finished off basically all my work for uni (in fact I may post some of that on here) and it feels so refreshing to draw something that isn't uni-related, especially a gift for a friend! I'm not an active shipper myself (although I guess by creating this I am?) but I definitely enjoy Paya's head-over-heels crush on Link, it's so cute! I'm also a big fan of hurt/comfort so this prompt specifically was really enjoyable to draw for.

I'm going back home soon so idk where I'll be at with art or posting, I'm currently working on a piece for Touhou Project of all things so that'll be exciting. Hopefully see you soon!
