I’ve rewatched “Star VS The Forces of Evil” episodes 7-8 season 3. The first part of the first episode is about Tom – he wants to deal with his anger problem once and for all. The procedure doesn’t go well and Star has to save him. They have some quality time together (start dating again?). The second part is about Marco feeling alien on Earth, annoying everybody with his constant talk about Mewni and earning his knight cape. Well, Jackie breaks up with him and he leaves to Mewni. The first part of the second episode shows us what happened when he arrived – nobody was ready for it. The cape turned out to be fake and Star feels that their relationship is too complicated. So, she offers him to be a squire of the Laundry Knight. In the end, she makes him her squire. The last part is about Star and Marco at “Quest Buy” trying to get something as squire and knight but ending up buying silly stuff and having fun.

I love it that Tom and Marco legit are glad to see each other again, even if they are about to get bogged down in love triangle nonsense.

Day in Fandom History: November 9…

Marco returns to Mewni where this time, to stay there for good, putting Star in a difficult position when it comes to his best friend’s return to her home and decided to put him up in the position of squire and with the Knight of the Wash. “Lint Catcher” premiered on this day, 2 Years Ago.

happened to put out a week’s worth of episodes concerning the aftermath of a series changing off-world event

And dealing with themes of seperation anxiety

And sequences involving break ups

And Make ups
