Introducing Endie, the protogen embodiment of my favourite Linux distribution!
Gaming on Linux
Gaming on Linux is not a problem anymore! We have so many options to play our favorite games on any Linux distro! Let's have a look at all this options!
Emulators
If you like retrogaming you can download lots of emulators to play your favotire retro consoles and retro computers! A very good exaple is RetroArch, the most well known emulator for retro consoles and computers. Other good examples are MAME, Mednafen and DosBox.
Steam
You can play your Steam library on Linux thanks to Proton, a compatibility tool developed by Valve to help you satisfy you gaming desires! You can check the compatibility level of your games on ProtonDB, with suggestion from other users to make your games work! Now turn on your pc, install the official Steam client and start enjoying your games!
GOG
If you prefer to buy games on Gog.com, you can play them too! While the official Gog Galaxy launcher won't work on Linux, you can install one of the many unofficial launchers for Gog games. My best recommendation is Heroic Games Launcher, an easy to use launcher for Gog, Epic Games and Amazon Games. You can use this launcher to install and run any exe file you have too, just import them! What are you waiting for?? Login into your Gog/Epic Games/Amazon Games account and start playing!
Minecraft
If you're a Minecraft addict like me, you can play it on your Linux distro! You can either use the official launcher or one of the many unofficial launchers. My best recommendation is PrismLauncher, a fast and lightweight launcher with a very very very very easy mods and resource packs management, so if you like to play modded Minecraft, I think this is best best launcher you can use! Just login to your Microsoft account and start playing your cubic world!
Hope you found this little guide helpful, happy gaming!!!
