remembered my wonderful expensive shoes and got dragged into thinking about Linzel mentally fighting with himself as he’s watching me show off my very good investment of good shoes to him (and Vana and Jem and Fancy) and he’s internally like “that’s so cute” and “WHO SAID THAT” back and forth

I think Linzel can be brusque and rude, especially to people he doesn't like, but I think it's hard for him to be really mean to people he actually likes or has respect for because secretly deep down he wants approval uwu

replayed the demo again recently and two things

1.) I didn't realize I could just lie to sweets. My stubborn ass mc looking them dead in the eye, like "I'm super fucking adaptable. quote me on that. Promise." Is peak.

Also Linzel calling my outspoken idiot of a mage a brave boy for some reason has me like😳I need him to be meaner to my boy stat. So sorry to Jem whose gonna have to witness this mess.

Oh man, I had so much fun writing the scenes where you tell Sweets you're good at things you're not haha. The way they just accept things like 'sure, buddy' was good fun. I think my personal favorite is selfish MCs saying they're virtuous; Sweets asks for money and is shot down immediately, poor thing.

seeing every RO fail to get Jem a partner just has me laughing like the "sickos" meme as I place my tall, confident, outspoken, sun-coded warrior right in front of him. he'll have no choice but to fall in love with her, becoming her personal pocket-healer haha

I love Fancy by the way; Linzel ties for favorite RO due to her adding points to his score!! I understand why poly doesn't work, but my warrior lady will have two routes for these guys- she has two hands and I have nigh-endless saves lol

The idea of Jem being like, a purse dog to tote around makes me happy. Like, he's a good boy! He's a certified emotional support boyfriend! He gets supported emotionally and is legally allowed in stores. 😌

Sometimes I do feel bad for Linzel that his major appeal is Fancy, but also I think he kinda needs it as someone who's so emotionally guarded. He has the hot, single dad appeal and I am okay with this. 😂

MC's hands are gunna be so full juggling until she has to choose. Thank god for save slots or I would've rage quit so many IFs and VNs that make me choose lmao!
