Critical Role Highschool AU

Beau’s parents told her she could only continue Martial Arts lessons if she also joined the FBLW (Future Business Leaders of Wildemount) and the Academic Decathlon.

Beau absolutely refused. And when her parents said she had to take at least two useful clubs she said she would be willing to do debate.

So Beauregard Lionett is in FBLW and Debate and she has martial arts lessons every morning at 5 am

She absolutely kills it in Debates and Mock Trials. Her team only wins about 50% officially. But most the losses are due to broken rules or skipped formalities. Regardless of the official outcome, her opponents know they’ve been beat.

No one wants to go up against Beau, her glare is almost as intimidating as the kicks and punches she practices on the air while she waits for the game to begin.

Her dad is finally proud acknowledging of her, it finally looks like she’ll be able to be a half decent business leader.

When she graduates her dad tells her that she got into Kamordah University, so she can work at the family business and get her education at the same time.

Beau laughs and says that she’s not going there. Thoreau tries to stop her, tells her that he won’t support her if she goes anywhere else, that he won’t pay for tuition anywhere else. She tells him that he doesn’t have to walks out the door.

She goes to a very prestigious university far away in Tal Dorei where she was given a full ride due to her incredible performance in all 3 of her extracurriculars. To pay for food and other necessities; she gives martial arts lessons to kids and teens in the area. After graduating, she becomes a defense lawyer. She cuts off all contact with her family and never sees them again.

Until she spots a case one day. A small brewery startup is being sued by Lionett Wine Co. for infringing on Trademarks. They don’t have a lot of money to pay her, but it’s fine, this case she takes pro bono. The shock on her fathers face is plenty of payment.
