Lionpelt 'came to know his Clanmates a lot better than they would have liked' did he walk in on someone uh "patrolling the borders" with someone else huh?
Anon #2: Kinda, yeah. They don’t really show up any more, just because the tunnels have been perfected as much as possible and it’s hard to make new ones, but you’ll get the occasional digger with nothing better to do that opens up a new pathway.
Anon #3: That is a super interesting question, actually. I won’t answer Bluestar, just to avoid spoilers, but I will say that the only thing that separates Sandstorm from full satisfaction is the wish that her dad was here. Halftail’s pretty satisfied, but he’s got some vague regrets that he misspent his youth. He can’t exactly pinpoint what he did to waste it. Maybe he just feels like he didn’t have enough time to be young.
Anon #4: Great question! Redtail was pretty gung-ho about becoming a leader someday, and Bluestar picked him pretty quick as deputy once she became leader. He was well liked and polite to all strangers, even if he had a noticeable disdain for the other Clans (which mellowed out as he aged).
Lionpelt was actually a little bit of a delinquent, constantly sneaking out to wander around and check out everything that was going on around the territory. He hated being stuck in camp for any reason, and came to know his Clanmates a lot better than they would have liked thanks to his snooping.
Tigerclaw was pretty aggressive about protecting the borders. He couldn’t tolerate the idea of giving up any territory to RiverClan, or letting kittypets anywhere near the border. He seemingly mellowed out a lot as he aged, and became more quiet. He often talked about becoming leader one day and “fixing” all the “problems” the Clan was having.
Whitecloud was a pretty ideal apprentice! He was calm, well-mannered, and gentle, and if he had an issue with someone, he would sit them down and talk it out like adults would (ideally). He was troubled with the tension between his father and his aunt, both of whom he loved dearly. He has no strong memories of his mother, and that bothers him a lot.
ajolote-mexicano: Oh man. Rookstar’s up there, but it’s still gotta be Bluestar. I worry I’m not doing her justice, to be honest, because I’m so excited to talk about her history in the third arc and really examine who she is. Lord willin’ and the creek don’t rise, I’ll do a good job of it.
Anon #5: Oh, no, I get that, don’t mistake me. I don’t blame them either. I’m just tired of that line of questioning. If I haven’t made it abundantly clear, I really don’t put much stock behind sexuality and such. I don’t even have set sexualities for my own characters (except for a few, where it’s relevant to their story). It’s a topic that bores me, really.
