Sorry, couldn't help it XD That song has always reminded me of Jaycloud spending her long life telling her mother's story to make sure it was never forgotten. I already posted a screenshot from Part 136 of the Variations Warriors OC MAP, but I liked this shot so much I had to post it too. So this is from Jaycloud's perspective as she's being greeted by the spirits of her friends and family. From left to right we have her uncle Blazeheart, her dad Lightfoot, her mom Silentstorm, her sister and littermate Screechwing, and her mentor Lightningstrike.

Did Silverblaze ask Rainfall to choose her own name? I noticed that her mom's name is Blazeheart, and I was curious if Silver was brave enough to ask Rainfall to choose her own name in honor of her "missing" mother, or if Rainfall choose the name as a warning to Orangebrook and maybe Silverblaze if she knew what happened to her mom?

Silverblaze’s name was definitely chosen to honor her mother, Blazeheart, yes.

The disappearance of Blazeheart was one of the first incidents of 'the missing' so Rainfall played it off as though she had nothing to do with it. The naming was more of a cover to show that Rainfall too had mourned the loss of Blazeheart!

Isn't she a benevolent Captain? To name Silver for the beloved Herbalist that was lost.
