Because I just saw a post bitching about this one, I want to add: this post is saying that you need to take accountability for the way you hurt other people, even if it happens because of a symptom of your disability/illness. It's also saying that using terms (especially acronyms) that aren't common knowledge isn't a helpful way to explain yourself. It is NOT saying that you need to let people walk all over you because "your disability isn't an excuse."

If you're diabetic, you don't have to eat the honey glazed ham that will send you into a coma (their example). But you also can't yell at the person offering it and accuse them of trying to kill you. You can just say "thanks, but my body can't handle that kind of sugar intake, so I'll pass"

beauberry blue is the oldest son of pinkie pie and party favor. his parents divorced while he and his twin sister were young; he stayed with his mom while his sister went with their dad. this impacted him hard, making him a fairly depressed pony considering his heritage. he became friends with zap quite young, and they consider each other like brothers. he discovered his talent as a contest judge through their attempts in competitions, and forever owes this to him. hes not too close with his sister, but is a good big brother to his younger half siblings

bubblegum pink sapphire is the youngest daughter of pinkie pie and party favor. she grew up with her father in our town, living in a close knit community that helped raise her. shes a very social pony, and runs her own jewelry business. bubblegum is quite close with her family friend rarity, viewing her as a mentor and almost mother figure. she has a small crush on moondust, like many other ponies, which she tries to make obvious but is unaware to him. she also tries to get violet to socialize more, to little effect most of the time

elaine lighthorn is the daughter of fluttershy, discord, and treehugger. shes very similar to her mother, with an interest in husbandry and animals. being half-draconequus, she never really fit in with other creatures, but it doesn't bother her much. shes very dedicated to the rights of other creatures, being fairly infamous because of her family. she still lives a quiet life, often keeping in touch with her siblings. her closest friend is prince moondust, another outcast like herself. they enjoy having the occasional tea party

omg totally!! its going through a bit of a rework but i can totally talk about it :)

violet eclipse is the oldest daughter of twilight and sunburst. shes a bit of a loner, not really super eager to be around other ponies and creatures. she has a bit of a superiority complex, being a princess and all. despite her cutie mark relating to magic, violet is more of a creative, painting and doing pottery with her own hooves. she knows of the other mane six kids, with their parents being friends; shes closest to zap, and is reluctantly friends with bubblegum

zap apple jam is the only son of applejack and rainbow dash. a bit awkward, hes a very empathetic pony who always trys to help others. hes a baker like his ma, and a casual flier unlike his mom. he feels out of place on sweet apple acres, despite the advantages of being a pegasus. hes good friends with violet, despite her grumpy nature most of the time. he hangs out with beau often, as they make a good team in cooking and judging together

moondust is the middle child of rarity and princess luna. hes a pony born with powerful magic, which almost killed him soon after birth. they were fairly sheltered as a foal because of this, and had a hard time making friends. his mums are known for what theyve done for others, but he feels all he can offer is destruction. as an adult, hes considered very attractive by common folk, making them fairly uncomfortable in public situations. despite this, hes close with his other siblings, as well as elaine. she, too, understands what its like to stick out
