The prompt I chose was the episode of friends called "The One with the Truth About London", I just changed it from London to Lions. Full drabble below the cut, if you'd rather read it on here than ao3 :)

“Uhtred,” Beocca sighs, holding a hand up to his forehead. “Uhtred…I do not understand why you cannot grasp this concept. It is literally a big cat. A very big, very dangerous cat.”

“But cats are all small and rude, Beocca! Some of them are useful for catching mice and things, and some are good for cuddling, but I’ve never met a scary one. They’re no bigger than my boots!”

“But not these cats, Uhtred! They weigh hundreds of pounds and have claws that can tear through a man’s flesh easier than a sword!”

Uhtred starts to respond again, and Beocca groans in frustration. “He never listened to me as a child, either,” he grumbles to Osferth and then elbows him. “You try explaining this to him, maybe he’ll understand it coming from someone other than me.”

Osferth shrugged and raised his hands to hold them like paws, and attempted to growl and mimed swiping his claws at his fearless leader. “Roaaaaaaaar -“

“-OH! Like a bigger, more ferocious cat! Why didn’t you just say so, Beocca?”
