I would love to visit The Tempel Lipizzans in Illinois. There was one Lipizzan troupe I saw years ago in New Jersey where the riding was atrocious, but this company seems like the real deal. No one shoot me for saying this, as I realize it might just be a result of them perhaps having a larger arena, but I actually like this more forward style of classical dressage more than what they do at the Spanish Riding School.

proficient in flexibility and stamina, they’re line is well known for their amazing dancing displays that utilize combat maneuvers and quick thinking. In dance, there are no centaurs as graceful, powerful, or alluring; their dedication to form allows for some impressive jumps and positions that never fail to dazzle and amaze. In combat, Lalondes tend to favor tactics more than strength, which in turn is heavily favored by their counterpart Striders. Seldom will you find one on their own and almost never will you find one unarmed. Although every Strilonde is surehoofed, they are prone to recklessness and will attack accordingly; Striders have some degree of honor and will usually keep from straying from their codes whereas their Lalondes have garnered somewhat of a reputation for any means necessary to elicit victory or revenge.
