Lipstick - do's and don'ts!

The lovely ladies at Breathe Happiness Blog have done a little feature on my tips for lipstick do's and don'ts! Be sure to check it out here for all my tips and tricks! 

DO!

Prep the Lip with lip conditioner or primer beforehand - this will ensure the lipstick goes on smoothly and doesn’t settle into the creases in the lip as much. ( I love Paw Paw Ointment!)

Use a lip pencil - it adds definition to the lip, prevents the lipstick from “bleeding” and gives a fuller effect.  Start by filling in the top lip at the cupids bow - its easier to start here as you get an even width on both sides making sure your line is not uneven. I prefer smooth lip pencils like Mac Pro Longwear as they slide on the lip easily but as long as you have prepped the lip well it will be easier.
