i am also very intrigued, since i don’t have a proper answer! my guess would be shinobu would go all sassy on suou (are you that bored you are tutoring people now?) and then suou, the catty not!friend that he is, maybe will namedrop arata and chihaya (to get shinobu’s attention and not to piss off taichi) and TAICHI WILL BE SO :<. maybe. or zen?? does his new zen cover that? gosh that might just turn into a disaster the first time around... on the other hand, if suou introduces him as someone who left ayase’s mizusawa club?.. what do you think?

okay, so rinkafushi‘s reaction to this suggestion was “rip legna” but i’m actually thinking it might be “rip lante” :D imagine trying to handle baby rock and baby beast in a closed space?? legna stubbornly trying to make friends with dante, and possibly trying to rationalize himself in terms of “y lante and dante so different and yet so similar” (when essentially, he is just confused by the sheer amount of pretty) and dante wants to kebab oracles as class and lante goes “pls no” and dante.doesn’t,understand. but lante wants it, so he guess it must make it alright?? still, keeping his sword close uwu

(i just hope lante’s hair doesn’t fall out, it would be such a waste uwu)

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THINKING ON IT. warning: it is a very addictive train of thought, and its side effects include wailing at the moon every time soo-won remembers hak (literally the first thing he asks yona on meeting her and figuring out she’s alive OR remembering their days together when thinking about something precious to him OR that blasted “i want you”) IT KILLS ME how open Soo-won is in his admiration for him! How easily he admits that! how he - i think - envies him any lack of duplicity and conflict and being able to take things in stride! (my impression is, he only actually properly looks at yona post-coup, because previously he might have been taking her for granted too long, but hak - that one always held soo-won’s admiraiton)

OKAY SO first of all tell me abt suwon!! i actually think he's one of the most interesting characters in the series, and i think he wants what's best for not-korea, but every time i think abt his interactions with yeona i get sooooooo madddddddddddddd! so like, i like him independently of her, but WHEN IT COMES TO YONA I WANT HIM TO STAY AWAY. (i also think he's the best ruler for the kingdom). OKAY FOR JAEHA AND KIJA, I JUST RLY LIKE KIJA'S IMMEDIATE DISTASTE FOR HIM MIXED WITH EVENTUAL RESPECT

Okay, so, Soo-won *takes out ten rolls of parchment out of pocket, they spill all over the floor and take up half the room*

I found him to be the most fantastic character in the series from the get-go, for his conflict, affections (and how he prioritizes them, because it is painfully obvious how they all care, for better or worse), and for how goddamn efficient he is as a ruler. I’m most interested in shipping Soo-won/Hak (”you are my goal” - “i want to be worthy of your goal” SLAY ME) and +Yona as ot3 BUT! while i love to cry about “we could have had it all” and the beautiful parallels of how he and Yona are actually reaching for the same things from different places, if Soo-won didn’t kill King Il and push Yona out of the castle, then there would be no Yona we admire. Sure, he and Hak would have been a tremendous power house together, but that would have been a very lopsided ot3 because Yona would just have been sheltered and overprotected. Now, however, every time they brush against each other, my HAIR CRACKS WITH TENSIOn and emotion and wanting to see them team up in their new respective qualities. (that is, if Hak doesn’t set everything starting with Soo-Won on fire at the idea. He is really bad at admitting he personally feels betrayed and mostly focuses his anger through Yona’s wounds!)
