Lipstickmarks is out of office 🏖️🍹

hey babydolls, I am taking a much-needed vacation from June 24 to July 5

i will be road tripping, beach rotting, and bikini maxxing with a smile on my face and a drink in my hand the entire time 😌

I am exceedingly lucky in many aspects, but exceptionally so for having found my niche through this blog. Tumblr was always a place I wandered into whenever I was on unsure footing, with life shifting like sand beneath me. Now, after years of painful metamorphosis, I’ve taken broken pieces of ghosts and skeletons and shells of all my former lives and turned it into a breathtaking mosaic. I’ve carved out a home for myself, my thoughts, my personality, my dirty fantasies, my rage, my grief, my love, and my writing. I am the luckiest girl in the world. 🌎

I am also incredibly fortunate to have such kind, talented, witty, thoughtful, irreverent, beautiful mutuals who color in my dash and my life with glitter gel pens. Thank you to all of you; when I was at my loneliest, shouting, cursing, and lamenting into the abyss, you echoed back. 💚

i hope april showers everyone in diamonds and all your most fanciful dreams become reality. 🪩 and a special message to anyone who might be going through a hard time right now— the song “begin again” has been stuck in my head the past few weeks which has me thinking about how spring is a time of transformation, which can be beautiful, exhausting, necessary, and painful all at the same time. it’s often hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel but remember that the earth dies and is reborn every single year. you can always do the same. you can always begin again. 🤍
