7 pounds to 50 By Disney (86% complete) 84 pounds to 300 (34% complete) 164 pounds to 220 (19% complete)

I had hoped to return to work yesterday (Monday after my Thursday surgery) but took the wise advice of my better half and stayed home, which is good because the ability to lie down every couple of hours proved vital.

Still a bit sore in spots and not able to sleep on my side (my preferred sleeping orientation), but that’s all getting better.  Meals are about 8oz of broth or thinned soup and take about 40 minutes (with first 4oz going down in first 15 and the rest going down over remaining 25, about). Going to push more shakes today to get protein up.

This is probably opposite everyone else’s experience, but I’m finding that it reduces my anxiety and cravings if people eat in front of me. As long as I have my nourishment, I’m doing OK with seeing food -- even food I especially like.

Ok so I'm really dumb. I thought wow yeah I'm feeling so much better I don't need liquids for dinner I'll have tuna bake. I chopped it up really small and chewed the life out of it but it still really fucking hurt. So my point is, if you feel like skipping a few days in whichever phase you're in, don't! It hurts so so much and definitely not worth it.
