GHB (Gamma-Hydroxybutyric Acid) is a CNS depressant, which like alcohol initially induces a stimulant effect at lower doses. I would stress immediately that this drug has a low effective dose to fatal dose ratio; meaning that the risk of overdose is significant unless due caution is exercised.
I found that it delivered a mild but heady inebriation, and an anxiolytic type calmness, with more of a zoned-out feeling with higher dose. The urge to redose was present throughout, which is another factor to take on board prior to use.
