I think there was also a mention of the worm (crawling king?) in episode 16 when they were doing that first job for the gentleman clearing the laboratory.
See, that’s the thing, I don’t think the worm in the mural is the Crawling King itself, in the same way that Uk’otoa isn’t the same thing as the Cloaked Serpent! But I think it definitely heralds the Crawling King’s influence on the plot - maybe that particular Betrayer god especially - and that’s gonna be really bad news because the Crawling King is supposed to be the patron of slavers, torturers, just the straight up worst of the worst.

I know a few people who call their grandparents mee-maw and pee-paw which kinda makes me want to die but like whatever follow your bliss
mee-maw is fine, but pee-paw is... not. it kinda reminds me of that griffin mcelroy vine where he finds a sign that’s clearly supposed to be “pipi’s room,” but because there’s no apostrophe, calls it the “pee-piss room.”

sometimes? like its the technically correct term but I wouldnt use it unless it was a formal or fancy speech or something? In official language it could be referred to as that or a person who works in one might say they work in a corrections facility rather than a jail or a prison but if i was speaking candidly to my friends or something i wouldnt use it. i hope that makes sense :)
Perfect! Thank you :) And yes I meant in a formal setting, not just casual chatting :p I just suddenly had a moment when I worried it might secretly be a British only legal term or something... idek, I got paranoid and thought it would be easier to ask here than figure out how to Google the origin of the term!

I just finished it today and I absolutely loved it. Great art and music and characters and the story is both lighthearted/funny and really intense. I think it might be one of my all time favs. (havent played life is strange btw and have only dabbled in animal crossing so I'm not sure about the comparison)
Oh awesome. It looks like it’s fairly cheap too so I’ll definitely try it out next time I get a spare 20 bucks. I tried the other free supplemental games and liked the feel of those too.
Life is Strange is basically a teen drama/time travel/mystery, puzzle solving adventure game. From what I hear both games share teen angst, supernatural stuff, and branching dialogue.
Except y’know, NITW is a bunch of animals lol Plus.. more of a platformer.. I guess?
Anyway thanks for the feedback! :D

I went to a concert the day I got the app AND A DRATINI JUST FELL INTO THE SEAT NEXT TO ME. Everyone in my row was super jealous bc of course I told them all. We’d all just been catching magicarps. People were running up and down the aisles before it started trying to catch things.
the fuuuuuck!! also if you got a dratini, it should have showed up for them too!! how strange
