Ever have that random moment where you remember something thought as a kid? I swore the 'fl' for 'fluid' like 'fl oz' for 'fluid ounces' was 'flow' because both gasses and liquids flow. It wasn't until I was about 15 before someone finally told me it's for 'fluid' and I was actually floored. People, teach your kids or even other people what the hell the acronyms actually are because they will either come up with some dumb shit like that or just assume the acronym doesn't stand for anything and is just the name of it.
