Work stuff: Thank you to Local First Arizona, LISC Phoenix & City of Phoenix Neighborhood Services Department for putting together a great tour of Camelback (Uptown/Serano). Councilmember Laura Pastor welcomed us at 444 W Camelback, a Venue Projects building and then we're giving an intro by Lorenzo Perez. We hopped on a City of Phoenix bus and headed to International Rescue Committee in Phoenix Aquaponics facility where Tristen gave us a tour and Gary talked about the partnership with Amerischools Academy - Camelback. Next step was the Vivo Partners lot where Keep Phoenix Beautiful has relocated too. The final stop was at Urban 188 where Max created a market-rate, middle-income housing, rehab of a problem complex. Thanks to The Newton for hosting an Informal happy hour. Thanks to AJ and the Camelback Light Rail Coalition for your help. #liscphx #localfirst #ryanwinkle #cityofphoenix #clrc #camelback (at Camelback Light Rail Coalition)
