お久しぶりです。今が旬ですね、妖です。

最近Rakuten Miniという小さいスマホを買って使ってみたのですが、モバイルSuicaが使え、Youtube Musicを再生でき、Twitterやブラウザも見ることができる……というお手軽便利ツールでした。そしてそれをもう一段便利にしてくれると私が思いあたったもの…それがネックストラップです。

ところが皆さんご存知の通り、昨今の主流スマホはデカい。ミニタブレットと呼んで差し支えなさそうなサイズがゴロゴロしています。「手に収まらずして何がスマホか」というのが持論(スマートは賢いの方ですけどね)で、私はこの時流に逆らって小さいスマホを買ってみたというわけです。とはいえ親機的にSE第2世代を持っているので世話ねえなという感じですけど。

で、何が言いたかったかというと、スマホが大きくなったおかげで、昔は雑貨屋を覗けばたいてい置いてあったネックストラップが近頃はほとんど置いていません。ネットで探すもいまいちピンとこず……では作るか！となって今回の本題に入ります。

結論から言うとネックストラップ作ったんですが、その印刷のためにデザインしたのが、自創作世界『僕らの見ている世界』に存在している架空の企業、「海神重工」のロゴです。

グッズというとキャラクターが載っていることが多いのですが、あいにく私の創作は世界創作で、名前のついているキャラクターがいないんですね……いるにしてもネックストラップにはしにくいんで選べないんですけど……。というわけで、”まるで海神重工の社員みたいなストラップ作ってしまえ”という欲望の赴くままに今回初めてロゴをデザインし、ネックストラップという形に落とし込んでみました。グッズ作るのって緊張もあるんですけど、すごく楽しいですね…！自創作グッズをいっぱい作る知人が周りにいますが、今回知人の気持ちがよく分かりました……。

ちなみに試作品をすでに受け取っているのですが、なんていうか……最高です。私の思っていたネックストラップが現実に物品になって手元にある……。あれこれ悩みながら仕様を決めた結果が手で触れられるものになっている……！いやあ、快感です……。

みんなも社員ごっこしてくれないかなあとか思って少し多めに作ってしまったのでよかったら。

着けた感想ですが、ぜんっっぜん目立ちません。びっくりするぐらい”社員”感が出ます。ポロシャツで引っ掛けたならもうそれは展示会にいるスタッフです。

Meet me by the old oak tree | Lisher

She could remember it as if it was yesterday. The first day her and Asher had found this old tree and climbed to the top. He was getting away from his home life, as was Lisa. They seemed like such an odd pair, a quiet human and an outgoing demon. But something about each other made them fit. Like puzzle pieces. Even before they fell in love, Lisa knew Asher was something more to her than just another human acquaintance that would just die when she was 40. Her friends never really liked him, looking down on him for his species, but he was always there, beside her. So it was no wonder the two would find a place to call their own, even if it was a tree in a local park.

Lisa followed the path that lead through the park to the exact tree that Lisa and Asher had once claimed as theirs. But as she neared the old tree, she could hear echos of the pain and heartache they both caused each other. That they both helped each other out with. The memories of the night when she ran into Asher's arms after her brother's death, the first time they spoke after the awkward month following when they both decided to give each other their innocence, the day Lisa had come back from her trip to the East Coast, the first time she had seen Asher in Black Pearl since he went to college. All of these brief moments in their time together had happened here, at this tree. Including the last truly happy moment they had together; their wedding. As she looked at the tree and what seemed to be such a barren landscape around it, she felt as if she was transported back to that day. Lisa could swore she heard her and Asher's soft laughs drift through the breeze as she felt tears spring to her eyes. How could she have done what she did to him? What possessed her to think that he would never find out, never be hurt? And here she was, drifting into memories as she stood in a place that once held so much happiness for her, all because she had to go and mess everything up. Lisa had the chance to be fully happy in life, something she never thought a demon could have. But obviously she couldn't have such a happiness, since it had come and gone in what seemed to be a simple breath.

Lisa could feel the wet, salty drops reach her mouth, and she realized the tears had brimmed over and began to fall. So lost in the memories, Lisa barely even noticed Asher approaching. They had planned to meet here, at the tree that was once theirs. She wondered if they could ever get it back. But she knew for now, it would just be a tree. She didn't deserve those happy memories anymore. Wiping the tears from her cheeks, Lisa turned and smirked, trying not to show the pain she had just felt. "Hey Pickachu, I shouldn't have had you come, it's fucking cold as shit. But you're already here, so get to your job of giving me a boost."

A Moment | Lisa & Asher

She had to get out, had to get away. Her first move was leaving the house they once shared. Even though she had locked up the room with all the pictures and memories, she could still smell him, she could still feel him there. It was driving her mad. So, she packed a few things and left, went to the only place she could stay; Phoenix's. He welcomed her into his home, for as long as she wanted. And she was happy for that, someone who loved her, she could spend time with. But Phoenix wasn't him. When Phoenix called her Princess, it felt wrong. The voice wasn't the right voice to be speaking that name. But Lisa would never have that again.

But he had been out mostly all day. That, or in his training room. And as per usual, he would come out, kiss her roughly before going off somewhere else. She knew he loved her, but did she really love him? She had to, with everything she risked to stay with him. She lost...him because of it. She had to forget him though, he was gone and never coming back. All because of her.

No matter what Izora and Hayley said, Asher wasn't coming back. And accepting this, Lisa knew she had to move on. Sure, she was staying with Phoenix and was technically with him, but what did that really mean? It was Lisa and Phoenix, probably the most fucked up relationship in Black Pearl. They killed for fun, and then fucked after to celebrate. Sure, she had fun with it, but it wasn't love. Not what she felt with Asher. So, she found herself in her car, driving out of town, trying to find an escape from everything. Lisa needed it.

Pulling up, Lisa found a parking space outside a new bar she found towns over from Black Pearl. She knew that here, she wouldn't run into anyone. Lisa could be someone completely different tonight, and that was exactly what she wanted. Walking into the bar, she took a seat and quickly ordered a Jack and Coke. As with any bar, the bartender then asked ID and Lisa's eyes flashed black as she entered the humans mind, controlling it, making him just go and get her a drink. Once it came back, she turned around in her seat and leaned back onto the bar, taking sips of her drink. The door opened, and normally Lisa was not paying any mind to those who were coming in and out of the bar, but the wind blew this time, and a smell hit her nose that was all too familiar. Shifting her eyes to the door, she saw the one person she didn't want to see tonight. The one face she was trying to get away from. "Shit..."
