It’s getting to be that time of year again so I’d like to remind y’all that “spook” is still an antiblack slur. “Spooky” is fine, but “spook” (the noun) specifically has an antiblack origin.

And I’m going to say this preemptively: I do not care for if you’re “black/mixed/poc (lol) and not offended.” If you do not think it’s that deep, kindly move on from this post. This is just a reminder from my end.
