maybe its bc my first fandom was the marauders fandom but the prospect of a ship not being canon doesnt rly bother me (except byler, that was pretty annoying)

but its so funny to me when there are people (yk that rly annoying grp who act like shipping 'ruins' the fandom); every time something is confirmed to not be canon, they act like they've won or smtg

but im lwk half thrilled bc, frustrated fans make a lot of content, so you know there's going to be a hoard of fix-it fics, also all a non-canon ship is going to do is make for some really good angsty premises

like making smtg not canon will never be the reason people stop shipping smtg, if anything, people might just ship it more, so jokes on you ig

to anyone who incorrectly responds with “you too”

I worked as a pizza delivery driver for Papa Gino’s for maybe three or four months.  After I gave the person their food and they signed or paid for it, I usually ended with an “Enjoy!” before I left.

And let me tell you, maybe 60-70% of people responded with “you too”.  That’s a lot of people who made the same silly little verbal error!  And you know what??

At the very most, I thought it was cute and kind of funny.  Most of the time though, I really didn’t give it any thought.  I was more worried about the traffic, the other deliveries I’ve got to make, when the end of my shift is, etc.

However if you don’t tip especially on a big order you can guarantee that I’m angrily driving down the road thinking about how much of an asshole you are
