whenever I see the tag ‘bakugou katsuki is bad at feeling’, on one hand it’s like yeah he is

but also it’s more of a, he was yk, bc I feel like he’s pretty perceptive as a character and is capable of recognising and handling his feelings, esp post war/timeskip

I think it’s time we passed on that crown to izuku who is genuinely shit at processing things

l feel like people mistake his crying for him being in touch w his emotions but i feel like even canonically he never tries to understand his feelings, which we can attribute to horikoshi being a shit writer but i think izuku just bottles every thing up

like think abt it, bakugou was never the one to not say what’s he’s feeling/thinking, sure he struggles w understanding them but he always has at least tried to figure them out

which is what the ground beta scene was anyway, not the best way to go abt it but it was smtg

izuku has honestly gone through so much and it often feels like he puts on a front, the whole being rly positive thing, which bakugous even points out as a reason as to why they could never hv a proper conversation in ground beta so I honestly believe that izuku in an attempt to remain upbeat, simply shoves any negative feelings down

bc that man is the last guy who would be charming anybody, also he is cannonically very defensive abt, like everything

which, tell me that wouldn't make him the perfect target for being teased, yk everyone around him has the time of their life watching him get annoyed bc he's so easy to rile up

and if we're talking bkdk, i always assume that izuku is the more of the fun one out of the two of them? like yes hes a bit awkward and nervous, but i feel like he'd be pretty social and actually want to go out and try new things

I feel like the big thing people get wrong when they think of Bakusquad and Dekusquad dynamic is that they think Bakusquad are the crazy ones, not the other way around.

This honestly is so funny to me because in cannon Iida has tried to commit murder, with Todoroki and Deku only kind of trying to stop him. Not even mentioning Ochakos (and Tsu’s!!) relationship with confirmed villain Toga. Meanwhile Bakugo goes to bed at 9 every night.

Like when I imagine their groups hanging out it’s like “omg let’s do something crazy!!”

For Bakusquad that’s making cookies at 11pm, or dying their hair at 9:30 on a school night.

For Dekusquad? That’s keying and spray painting all over Endeavours car. Then accidentally participating in an underground fight club. (They won obviously) Or going out to some random field at 3 in the morning to help Hatsume test out some insane machine she just made, knocking over a water tower and fleeing the scene.

It’s just funny how people always think it’s the opposite, when it’s really not. Like the Dekusquad look innocent and act like they’re the normal ones, but in reality they are all one step away from getting arrested every single time they go out. While bakusquad act crazy and rowdy, the craziest thing their doing is getting slushys at 7/11 and overflowing the cup more then they should.

I like to imagine whenever bakugo and Deku hangout they both will talk about the crazy stuff they did, and not elaborate, leaving them both thinking the other is as ‘unhinged’.
