Nightwood was a tough read, but is definitely an interesting book. I’m still not entirely sure if I understand it though.

I think “Death of the Author” was one of the first things they taught in my first year of Literary Studies, just to pre-emptively nip any “the author said this-and-that so it must be so” essays in the bud.

I agree. Fellowes, you life ruiner, why Sybil!? Sybil and Branson were the sole reason I watched Downton Abbey. It took me weeks to recover.

I was really ridiculously invested in their storyline (despite the less than stellar writing on Fellowes' part), and then That Thing happened.

As far as I'm concerned, the series ended the second Sybil gave birth, AND NOBODY WILL CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE.
