The Islanders at the Met Gala 2024 - Part 1

as is kind of tradition by now, I make edits of our favourite islanders as though they were at the met gala. I've done this before as well, which you all can find here for 2022, and here and here for 2023. Like last year, I've had to divide it into two posts, with the girls first – link to part 2 here.

LITG: Marisol's heart rate challenge outfit.

litg s2: Marisol heart rate costume. Moulin Rouge-inspired.

Suddenly, a Latin-infused beat rises through the air. ‘I Like it’, by Cardi B, Bad Bunny & J Balvin. 

Marisol sashays in, one hand on her hip, the other flicks a red feather boa draped around her shoulders in the air with dramatic flair. The group began clapping and cheering. 

She fluffs her hair as she struts over to the fire pit. She winks at the boys. “You boys ready for this?”

Marisol dances around the firepit sassily, like a sexy burlesque dancer. Her Moulin Rouge-inspired costume is complete with a red corset, ruffled skirt, stockings, and a headpiece.

She throws her arms up and runs them down her luscious curves. She continued to move her body in sync with the music. Her hips roll left and right as her flamboyant moves become more and more energetic. They group whoop and cheer. Marisol dances her way across the line of boys, giving each a little taste.

She strides over to Noah. Fluttering the plume of feathers, she spins around and swings the boa aside to give him a cheeky view of her bum as she twerks to the music.

The boys cheered excitedly. She peeks out of the side and cheekily blows a kiss in Graham's direction.

She struts over to Ibrahim next. She sits on Ibrahim’s lap and rolls her body in a sensuous wave that brings her chest teasingly close to his face. Ibrahim freezes, mouth slightly open. Marisol rises with a shimmy, and her signature red lips form a sexy pout.

She moves to the beat and shimmies her chest as she sashays toward Bobby and Gary.  She flashes a playful grin, giving them a view of her sexy outfit as she shimmies. 

Her gaze snaps to Gary. She playfully shakes her body as she moves closer and closer to him. Gary’s eyes widened. She put her hands on his knees and used him as a base to drop her hips low, throwing her head back as she bounced on her heels. Marisol wound her way back up to a standing position.

Marisol's eyes locked with Bobby. She lowers herself onto his lap, starts shimmying, and loops an arm around his shoulders, fanning the feather boa teasingly near his face.

Next, she places her hands on Elijah’s shoulders and slowly sways her hips, shimmies her skirt and teasingly trails her hands over her body. His eyes widen as they take her in. He shakes his head in disbelief.
