What is the advantage of the lithium battery?
As we known, there are many kinds of batteries in the market, most use are the lithium battery and the lead-acid battery. Now the lithium battery is more and more popular because of the much longer recycle times than the lead-acid,which can be up to be 3000 times even more.
There are more advantage of the lithium battery, when the lithium battery add the BMS(Battery management system), the lithium can manage the charging voltage and the discharge, can protect your battery from the over charging and discharging.
What is the MPPT?
In the solar power system,the solar charge controller is the solar kits that between the solar panels and the inverter or battery, after the solar panels generate the electricity, then the solar charge controller will stabilize the voltage and the current,which will charge the battery safely.

We need to know what is "maximum power point". Under the same lighting conditions, photovoltaic modules will have different output currents at different operating voltages. When the photovoltaic module works at a specific voltage, the product of the specific voltage and the output current (that is the power) reaches the maximum value. This operating point is the maximum power point, and it is also the time when the photovoltaic module generates the highest power generation efficiency.
MPPT solar charge controller can detect the power voltage of photovoltaic modules in real time, and track the highest voltage and current values, so that the photovoltaic power station can track the maximum power point under different sunshine and temperature environments, so that the system can output maximum power.

In the market, the data sheet of different lithium factory is differnt (including the charging voltage, high voltage protection and the low voltage protection and so on). So before leaving the factory, the MPPT can be set the charging parameters according to the data sheet of the lithium battery.
