Romania for the ship meme-?
ooooooh ro and liet sounds fun
protip: liet and anyone is fun also I am trash
Lithmania
B
also I’m folklore trash so any sort of witchy and/or supernatural Lith with Romania who canonly does magic just. sends this up like two grades.
have I mentioned I’m trash today
oooooooh you should write magic lithy. maybe werewolf/vampire lithmania ;) hmmmm should give you a proper prompt too. “You need to stop leaving dead bodies in my kitchen.”
Starting with this one
Because I know this was you firebird there is no one else who would have sent this
Toris almost tripped as he entered the kitchen, and as he looked down, a frown spread on his face. There was a body, a too-pale corpse, on the floors he’d just cleaned.
Muttering annoyedly under his breath, he ducked into the dining room, knowing he’d find Valentin, who, of course, was sitting on his table, because who needs chairs, right? Ugh, he hated him sometimes. And he was sipping something not red enough from a wine glass, with a few glass bottles of a similar shade around him.
“Did you cut that with that wine Lovi sent me?”, he asked with a sigh. “Because I was saving that, it was nice.”
Valentin took another sip, wiping away the bit of red left on his lips. There were still stains all around his mouth. “Ah, actually, I brought my own!”, he assured him, pushing a bottle of Țuică out from behind him. “Want some?”
“Ah, no, not that hungry, actually,” he muttered, taking a seat in a chair like a normal person.
With a pout, Valentin poured a bit more of the liquor in his glass. “You sure? I brought you a snack!”
“Oh, is that what that is?”, he dryly questioned. “You know, you really need to stop leaving corpses in my kitchen. The fluids leave stains, plus I have to light a bunch of candles to mask the smell-”
Taking another swig, not bothering to wipe his mouth this time, Valentin rolled his eyes. “Seriously? That’s what you’re worried about?” He leaned close, too close. “You can tell me if you’re on one of those weird no human diets, I won’t laugh.”
“It’s not a diet,” Toris huffed. “I’m just not in the mood. I want to try to at least feel… civilized.”
A sigh, Valentin uncorked one of the glass bottles and added a bit more blood into his drink. “I mean, I can’t say I don’t get where you’re coming from, but what’s the point? Either way, everyone will think we’re monsters, so might as well live it up, right?”
Toris flinched a bit at the words. The scars on his back twinged, like the hunter with the scarf was driving the silver knife into them once more.
“…actually, pour me a glass, won’t you?”
Valentin smiled and produced a long-stemmed glass, already filled with red. It tasted a bit thin, he wondered if that body on his floor had been anemic.
That Lithmano thing made me really want to do one for my other Lithuania rarepair but no one’s going to ask me about it so screw it I’m gonna do it myself. It’s Lithmania time.
Who accidentally pushes a door instead of pulling/vice versa
Romania. And he does it over. And over. And over. And over. And “please Ro just pull the freaking door” “oh wait what”
Who doodles little hearts all over the desk with their initials inside them
Romania. Lithuania wishes Romania would stop at just the hearts, but they form into elaborate patterns that he suspects are some sort of sigil.
Who starts the tickle fights
“Tickle fiiiiight!”
“Ro please not now I’m working”
“But-”
Romania proceeds to pout until he gets a chance to strike
Who starts the pillow fights
“Ro, I’m done working”
“Nice, so we can-”
Lithuania proceeds to get a surprise strike in with a pillow before it becomes flat out warfare.
Who falls asleep last, watching the other with a small affectionate smile
Lithuania falls asleep the second he lays down. Romania takes several hours to get to sleep because his brain won’t shut up. Most of these thoughts are some form of “ah, he’s so cute when he’s sleeping I wish I could wake him up so I could tell him thaaaat”.
Who mistakes salt for sugar
Neither of them; Romania wouldn’t risk mislabeling anything in case he needed it for “reasons”, Lithuania is meticulously careful about most everything.
Who lets the microwave play the loud beeping sound at 1am in the morning
Romania, who is often up late, also really, really can’t stand stopping the microwave at 0:01 because that’s just plain wrong.
Who comes up with cheesy pick up lines
Romania’s surprisingly good at pick up lines, Lithuania really isn’t, so he tries to keep up and Romania finds it adorable, which is not really what he was going for.
Who rearranges the bookshelf in alphabetical order
Lithuania thinks they should be in alphabetical order. Romania thinks they should be in just about any other order because the alphabet is arbitrary and meaningless. They get thoroughly reorganized at least twice a week.
Who licks the spoon when they’re baking brownies
Neither of them; Romania thinks it’s wrong to not let something finish before trying it and Lithuania’s just worried about health
Who buys candles for dinners even though there’s no special occasion
Romania claims he does this. Lithuania doesn’t believe him for a second those candles were supposed to be for dinner.
Who draws little tattoos on the other with a pen
They both do this, with Romania drawing protection-y symbols and stuff and writing in code and Lithuania drawing really cool, elaborate designs that should totally be real tattoos and not just in ballpoint pen.
Who comes home with a new souvenir magnet every time they go on vacation
Neither of them is really into magnets, but Romania likes souvenirs and Lithuania tries to remember to pick something up for him when he’s travelling for work. Usually really weird things.
Who convinces the other to fill out those couple surveys in the back of magazines
Romania, but Lithuania enjoys doing them and won’t complain.
Prompt: Lithmania. You know, if you want...
The line at the ice-cream store was absurdly long - it was the middle of summer, but Tolys, too-old-too-young, didn’t have much experience taking ten-year-old Raivis out for treats.
Still, they’d almost reached the end of the line when the little boy in front of them - just having collected a heaping chocolate cone and a brighter-than-customer-service smile from the woman behind the counter - turned on his heel and, not looking where he and his ice-cream were going (that is to say, not ceasing to chatter at the young man behind him) barreled straight into Tolys’ chest.
The brief and restrained silence was broken by peals of laughter from the boy’s brother (he couldn’t be anything but his brother at this point, Tolys thought rather resentfully, wiping ice-cream off his shirt): “Ahahaha - I’m sorry, I’m sorry,” he broke off again, laughing grin showing startlingly white teeth; Tolys was reminded oddly of Feliks and, for just a moment, rather to prove the differences more than anything else, he took in the other man’s appearance: thin burgundy T-shirt, moles dotting pale arms, shaggy hair getting too-long during vacation and almost falling over sharp light-colored eyes.
“Konstantin, look where you’re going next time.” The grin never flickered as he spoke the reproach. “I’m sorry, what were you going to get? No no no, it’s on me.”
