“I may have accidentally sort of adopted five cats.” this is fucking feli and you can't tELL ME OTHERWISE
polgre for the five cats one xDD
Two? For the same one? Okay, I can make this work…
To be fair, Seborga had come home to stranger happenings than five cats being strewn about, but it didn’t make it any less… well, annoying wasn’t the word, nor was troublesome. Eventful seemed a bit too neutral, though, so perhaps he’d stick with troublesome.
Regardless, someone had some answering to do, so he bent down to match his older brother’s eye level. “Ven.”
Veneziano looked up from the floor. “Seb?”, he questioned.
“Roma’s not going to be happy about this.”
“Why not? He likes cats, right?”
Honestly, he couldn’t remember. He knew someone didn’t like cats, but who was that? It might have been Romano, but it could also have been Wy or Molossia or Lux. “Well, I think so,” he finally decided. “But five?”
His older brother pouted. “They were in a box, it was raining, what was I supposed to do?”
“Probably not…” Seborga gestured to all the cats, from the one on the kitchen counter to the one curled up by his leg. “Well, not this.”
“Aw, come on!”, he protested. “They’re cute!”
“If I brought home every cute thing I saw there’d be no room left in the house,” Seborga countered dryly.
A mischievous chuckle. “Oh, but you do!”, Ven protested. “Or at least, you try to!”
If he wasn’t so mortified he’d have laughed, it was a good one. “F-fair point… But still, we need to do something.”
“Oh, fine,” his brother conceded. “I’ll just ask Po.”

“Dearest,” Greece questioned as his eyes flitted around the room, as if he was trying to count.
Slowly, Poland looked up from his place in his boyfriend’s lap with an almost automatic but slow smile. “Yes?”
“Did you catch more cats coming in? I seem to remember there being a few fewer.”
“You don’t mind, do you?”, Poland questioned. “I mean, Ita wanted me to keep them since his brothers wouldn’t let them.”
Greece nodded. “Of course not, I was just-”
“And he found them alone, abandoned in a box in the rain!”, Poland added, his voice taking on a dramatic flare, as if he’d rehearsed the response and couldn’t bear it going to waste. “Please, you must allow it, for their sakes!”
A light chuckle, like wind chimes. “Of course,” he agreed once more, and Poland turned back over. Greece found his fingers running through his hair without thinking, and Poland purred contently.
