I worked at Joann’s a few years back and have some great coupon info (hopefully it’s still correct): you can use as many coupons as you’d like per transaction, and they’ll accept competitor coupons! What I’d end up doing a lot was queuing up Michael’s, Hobby Lobby and Joann’s coupons from their websites and bring in paper coupons, and use a bunch at once! (It also works/worked on the candy + soda in the front-end queue!)
Also good info! A lot of people don’t know they can combine or accept competitors coupons. Although I’ve noticed that the type matters, like I run into issues combining a % off and a $ off. Michaels will accept competitors coupons, too, and I’ve totally used multiple 20% off entire purchase from other stores to get a big discount. (I don’t know about Hobby Lobby, I don’t shop there, but I have used their coupons at Michaels before).
I don’t know if it’s still a thing anymore, but the coupons you got via email used to be able to by shared, too. I used to be part of a group that would share when they got a 60% off or a 20-30% off including sale item one sent to them.
And like with my situation today, you can use the same coupons from your phone for multiple transactions. I don’t usually ask them to ring me up multiple times if there are other people in line because I don’t want to be a pain in the butt, but it’s do-able if you absolutely must.
And I will totally use them even if just my soda and the kinder egg I’m absolutely grabbing at checkout is all it will apply to haha.
I really REALLY wish they’d just price crap normally and do away with this coupon game, but we’ve got to work with what we’ve got I guess.
