what instrument would liet play?

Oooh that is such an open question, there are definitely lots of good answers!

I definitely have a fond violinist!lithuania headcanon!  (With a sad part in the story where he refused to play in Russia’s house, until later when he rediscovered the music...)

violinist!lithuania is definitely a tag I remember adding to a good few things in the queue, such as this lovely piece by kyuhu--I love duets with po on piano.

AUs give many many possibilities that I enjoy also. I have a 90s/00s Eastern Europe summer orchestra AU where she plays flute and is just very very extremely good, (esp having focused more on music than nation verse liet would have time to.)

If he has any sort of aptitude for music he might be sort of guy who will fill in and learn viola and even figure out something like bassoon, because he’s accommodating and wants what’s best for the whole group, and will of course reliably practise enough to be decent.

But left free to choose I think I like the idea of a nicely portable instrument for liet, in nation verse too, because there are times when you just want to walk into the woods and play to the birds, y’know?  So in that vein -- maybe she’s better at acoustic guitar than piano, and maybe various unique and not equally tempered flute/pipe instruments, or ocarina!
